Sugar Sticks & Vending Sugar

Sugar format is decided by how the drink is served. Sticks suit self-serve counters because people take one and there is no half-used sachet left behind; loose vending sugar goes in the machine canister; sachets are cheaper per unit for table service.

We stock Summit Fairtrade white and brown sugar sticks in boxes of 1,000, and Tate & Lyle Fairtrade vending sugar in 2kg for canister systems.

Fairtrade certification is worth carrying even if no customer has asked. It comes up in tenders and procurement questionnaires, particularly for public sector and education contracts, and swapping supplier mid-contract to satisfy it is more hassle than buying it from the start.
